Hi, I installed a R8000 Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Smart WIFI Router with a High-Speed DSL Modem (Model DM200) to replace a BT Homehub, and I seem to be getting slower internet. Help would be appreciated, thank you.

The DM200 is a 100mb max modem what was the internet speed you had before and what internet speed you have now?
Here is the manual for the modem http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/DM200/DM200_UM_EN.pdf
The R8000 router should be able to handle upto a 1gb connection but the modem will not.

Re: Slow internet with Nighthawk R8000 using a DM200 Netgear Modem
Hi TobyMiles,
If the computer is directly connected to the modem is the speed faster? If yes, try to set the DM200 to bridge mode.
