Telnet console checkbox
In what f/w revision did Netgear remove the Telnet checkbox from the R9000's http://routerlogin.net/debug.htm?
I'm guessing this was removed for security reasons.
Is there some way to get it back, besides reverting to an older f/w?

I don't know. You could try reading the firmware Release Notes
documents, but they tend to be nearly information-free.

Perhaps. Or an error or oversight. With the usual documentation,
it's tough to do more than guess.

You might explore the HTML, and see if something on that page has
been commented out in an easy-to-restore way. I do little of that, so I
know nothing, but I believe that Firefox has a whole bunch of stuff
under Tools > Web Developer.
Have you tried one of the Telnet Enable tools floating around out
there? I use the program which I modified: http://antinode.info/nte/
The feature has apparently been gone from the R7000 for a while. I
don't recall seeing any reports of improvement or work-around on that
model.
