USB Storage share names changes all the time

Hi,
I have a 4TB disk with three partitions attached to my R7000 (latest firmware V1.0.4.30_1.1.67). Very often the share names get mixed up, sometimes two partitons have the same share name. I have not figured out what the exact pattern of this behaviour is. Rebooting did not help. This is very annoying and I can't get OSX Time Machine to reliably use always the correct partition. Any ideas?

Please do a factory reset on the router. Since you have loaded a new firmware it is advisable to do a factory reset and reconfigure it.

Re: USB Storage share names changes all the time
Anybody else noticed that or am I the only one ? Is this maybe a known issue ?

Re: USB Storage share names changes all the time
Hi @Wolfgang_
I would like to ask if it has the same issue on the previous firmware prior to updating it to the latest one?

Re: USB Storage share names changes all the time
Hi!
I've tried 3 times now and at some point it always ends up changing the ''share name'' of each drive to the same that is extremely annoying.. 😞 any other ideas? is another build of the firmware scheduled soon?
Thanks!

Re: USB Storage share names changes all the time
Do you have the latest firmware installed on your router?
Can you try to connect a different USB drive and check if it has the same behaviour?
How many devices are affected?

Re: USB Storage share names changes all the time
Hi!
It's the latest yeah. I can't test it with another hardware. The issue is that i had a two bay USB3 drive and it was mixing the name of those two drives.
I just bought another single drive unit and plugged it to the USB2 port. Disappointing but I have no other way of making it work properly. And now for some reason it doesn't allow me to back up with Time machine, I have a drive access error .2
This is getting me so frustrated! it used to work well!
