Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
I've enabled the VPN service on my X45 R7800, and selected "All sites on the internet & home network" as the access option for clients.
I've downloaded the Android config package and installed it on my Moto G 5G Plus. It connects to the VPN, but gets assigned an IP address of 192.168.2.*, and can't access any of the resources on my LAN (which are in the range 192.168.1.*).
Is there any way that I can configure the VPN to give clients access to resources on the LAN?

Re: Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
First suggestion would be to log in to your router and go to Advanced -> Setup -> LAN Setup and reserve an unused address in the range 192.168.1.* for your phone based on phone MAC address. You may have to connect to your Wi-Fi at home with your phone to determine the specific MAC address for the band you are using (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, etc.)
My setup: Comcast -> Netgear CM2050V -> Netgear R9000 (Voxel V1.0.4.67HF)

Thanks for the suggestion. I set up a reservation of 192.168.1.155 for my phone's MAC address, but it got ignored when I connected to the VPN - it got allocated 192.168.2.2 again

Re: Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
In the LAN setup section you choose the IP address for the router itself and also the range of addresses to be assigned via DHCP.
I set 10.0.0.1 for my router and the start/stop range as 10.0.0.100 - 10.0.0.149 for my DHCP. I am using TCP for the TUN mode service type. I have full access to all LAN resources (NAS, IP cameras, etc.)

Re: Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
Yes I have the router set up with an IP address of 192.168.1.1, and DHCP allocations in the range 192.168.1.10-248. So I have no idea why it allocates a 192.168.2.* address to VPN clients

Just to confirm, when you are doing your test connections, you are not connected via your local Wi-Fi? Presume you are connected via your phone data connection and your phone Wi-Fi is shut off.

Re: Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
As a short term test, you could set the R7800 IP address as 192.168.2.1 and your DHCP range as 192.168.2.10-248. Be sure and reboot your router after the change and before the test.

@itmYou might be running into an address numbering conflict. Background from OpenVPN here:

Re: Unable to access LAN resources via VPN on X45 R7800
The only way to know for sure is to use something other than 192.168.1.* for your LAN and test it. Your modem might have a fixed IP address that is causing interference.
Good luck.
