    Grazie per la risposta. Può trovare i passaggi per configurare il suo modem router DGN1000v3 come un punto d'accesso (Access Point) in questo post Configurare N300 come access point

I agree being able to change the admin name would close off an entry point on your network but untill the firmware allows it we are sick with the same  issue.

No, it would be just security by obscurity. Like the heroes moving the default ports to other random port numbers.
