Is my router suppose to be faster than my modem? I am getting same the same speeds as my modem.
your router, assuming you talk about wired speeds, is limited by the modem connected to it for obvious reasons. Your "the modem" does not give info on what device it is (pure modem or modem+router combo called a gateway) and I'm not sure if you talk about wired or wireless or both speeds
