WiFi Outages, DOCIS 3.0 and Device Incompatible due to filters

I have Xfinity 600 Mbps service.  And the WiFi keeps dropping out 3-5 times a day, sometimes more often.  I have had Comcast out and i have trouble shot everything I can think of.

I have discovered two new things that I need some feedback on.

1.  The Xfinity website says my "Device is not compatible based on filters."  Whatever that means.  HOwever when I click on my device it says my Device is compatible with my download spees and service.

2.  The Xifinity chat guy told me I need a DOCIS 3.1 Router instead of the 3.0 DOCIS I currently have,

What ae these things and could any of them be causing my wifi outages?

is I only show the C6250 compatible with speeds up to 373mbps on comcast. this is through my comcast account.

If you have 600mbps, you'd want to upgrade the modem.

Your dropped wifi, is it 2.4ghz, is it 5ghz? Does it say "connected, no internet"? Do wired devices drop?

Whats actually going on? we're not there to see so just saying its dropping doesn't help.

Both 2.5 and 5G go out.  Based on router logs, there are Response Errors??? and the Router Reboots to get the signal back

Take a screen snip of the logs and the cable connections page and post back here. use the "choose file" option as photos need to be approved by a moderator and it takes a while.

Interesting....spoke with Netgear and they told me that the Router could handle speeds of up to 600 Mbps.  This is all BS, I don't know who to trust.

Technically it is rated to 600mbps. But the isp's only certify it for a certain speed based on their service.

for example, cox is now requiring docsis 3.1 for speeds greater than 150mbps.

And some isp's still might allow 600mbps using that modem, but not all do. its why its "up to 600mbps".
