Wifi no internet but ethernet works

Wifi will loose internet access but ethernet works fine. Have to reboot router to fix

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? 

Does the router feel extra warm or hot on top? 

 

How do you have Basic wireless settings and Advanced wireless settings configured? Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings 

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

 

Your modems don't have wifi or built in routers.

i think the modem is EU2251 from Spectrum. Just upgraded from a Spectrum Cisco Model DPC3010. WIFI internet cuts out with both. Wifi is on just connected with no internet. I have not done a factory reset.

It's a little warm. 3 other wifi in range. I haven't done any changes to wifi settings or a factory reset even after a new update

    I would try a factory reset and setup from scratch.

     

    I also recommend placing a laptop cooler under the router for additional cooling.

      Did a factory reset. May be up to a few days before it does it again if it does do it.
