adding a device to my netgear acct.
I'm trying to connect my thermostat to my wi-fi and not sure how to do this. Any suggestions?

I do not have any insturctions for my thermostat. It is giving me a no IP address message.
I'm not very technical when it comes to all the smart gadgets. The thermostat was connected and now it's not. I am just trying to get it back on line.

1. router you have?
2. firmware on that router?
3. modem/gateway you're connecting it to?
4. thermostat you're connecting?
