ethernet ports leds blinking red when ethernet cable connected
The ethernet ports are flashing red when connected, is this correct if not what colour should they be and how do I rectify the problem

Google for the documentation of the router! Read and you'll see that red means its operating at 10 or 100 Mbps. White means it's operating at 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps).
If you have something plugged in that only supports 10/100 Mbps, then you'll get red
