Another router that supports AP mode or a Wifi Extender that supports AP mode that has a ethernet connection:

Hello, I forgot to mention that I am using a CM700 cable modem into the RP7900. I do not know what an AP system is? I folllowed the link in your answer and it appears I can enter AP mode in settings of the router and then use the same setup in another router in the garage? My concern is that in step 6 my router loses connection with my computer? That is not what I want, I want my computer, currently hardwired into the router to maintain service, just add my garage.
