Apparently I need to have the secondary router set up prior to changing the settings on my RP7900 to AP? Because I don't have it set up, and i have lost almost all connectivity as a result, WIFI and ETHERNET do not have a valid IP configuration. How do I change back from AP? What setting do I choose? Also, when the router rebooted, it said that "routerlogin/net could not be found?
I am sorely exasperated as this seemed simple, but I am now without any WIFI, cannot call out, cannot use my ROKU, not even sure how this internet connection happened because it did not happen for 30 minutes and then suddenly appeared. All the right LEDs are lit, and I really need to get my internet back, please
Your primary router should already be setup.
It should have a small IP address pool size (192.168.1.100 to .200) do when you set the 2ndary R7900P configured for AP mode you can set a static IP address of say, 192.168.1.79 on the 2ndary AP mode router.
