Swell. Now, what's your router (or wireless access point, or
extender, or repeater, or whatever you have)?
Look for "Model" on the product label. Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for a
topic like "Specify Basic WiFi Settings". Select a security option like
"WPA2-PSK [AES]", rather than any with plain "WPA" in it?
Further reading might not hurt, either.

Had same issue, found that the extender was broadcasting WPA/WPA2. The phone was reading weak security. I fixed the problem by changing the extended to "WPA2-PSK [AES]" only. To do this I had to download the app called netgear nighthawk from iPhone sapp store. I then was able to get into the repeater and change the security protocol as noted above. Hope this helps...
