What _does_ it do? LED indicators?

During firmware update version 1.3.2.134 everything appeared to be loading normally. progress bar filled completely. screen changed to router reset. Then screen changed to connection lost we miss having you lets get you back online. Amber power light continued to blink for about 1/2 hour. tried to reset using all methods availlable. tried to connect using patch cable. network diagnoises say's either IP address is invalid or no IP address present.

also stops working, so you computer/device can't get its IP address
using DHCP (as it normally would). That's a _result_ of the problem, not a cause.
Note that part of the TFTP recovery procedure involves manually
specifying an IP address (and related parameters) on the computer
involved, specifically because DHCP won't work.
