intemittent the internet connection
Since yesterday, the internet connection has been interupted so many times. We have to do "trouble shooting" each time.
I called Spectrum, but the representative person said there was nothing wrong with Spectrum because our modem is only 1 month old. She doesn't see anything wrong. Our cable is also brand new. So she said probably something wrong with Netgear. Our router is like 2 years old, not very old.
Please tell me what is wrong and what I should do for that. Thanks.

Re: intemittent the internet connection
we'd need more info to help.
1. Do all devices drop? just wireless devices? or do wired drop as well?
2. when it goes down, does it say "connected, no internet" or is there no connection at all?
3. What fixes the issue?
4. When it drops, what are the led's on the router showing?
5. What firmware is on the router
6. What modem do you have from spectrum?
7. If you have a computer connected directly to the modem, does it drop?
