newbie trying to setup my r7000 for time machine backup using hdd connected to usb3.0 port.
I don't need any internet connection just want a local network to backup my Mac laptops and an iPad. Is this something that is a possible use for this router? I see the router as connected. Is the connected HDD the s volume.? It says it is 200 mb in reality it is 4gb. Im in over my head apparently. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry I forgot to include this info in my original inquiry.
My R7000 Firmware Version is V1.0.4.30_1.1.67. Using Monterey on all the Macs. Hdd is Toshiba 4 Gb with a partition for each back up. Each partition has been successfully used to back up each machine directly previously.
