printer connection issued

I had to change my router password and now my printer will not connect.  It has been connected for a year now, but cannot connect since changing the password.  I have an HP laserjet.  There is no WPS button on my router that my printer says I have to push to connect.  What do I do?

If HP made only one model of LaserJet printer, then that would mean
more.

> [...] There is no WPS button on my router [...]

   That would be unusual.

   That's your "my router"?  Yow.

Apparently, the one thing which you have _not_ done is one thing
which could help you to solve your printer problem:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM

It almost doesn't matter which manual.  For the router:

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for
"WPS".

If you can't manage that, then you might visit hp.com , and look for
the manual(s) for your actual printer model.

Re: printer connection issued

Thanks for the sarcasm and degrading tone.  NO, my Netgear router does NOT have a WPS button.  and I have my manuels, but it is not locating my network. So thanks, but you were no help. Next time, just be helpful and not mean.

Re: printer connection issued

I have logged into my router and done the following:

-advanced settign for WPS setup and followed instructions on both my router and printer and connection fails.

-I have tried entering the printer PIN into the WPS setup and that also fails.

-printer is listed in allowed devices but not connected.  I have deleted and re-added and still not connect.

-when I brought home this router and set it up, there were no issues connecting all our devices including this printer. But when i changed my password, now the printer will not connect.

Did you?  Apparently not, or you would have noticed this bit:

In addition to the two antennas, the back panel contains the
      following components:

o Reset/WPS button. This button can be used to reboot and reset
the router and connect WPS-enabled devices to the router
depending on how long the button is pressed:

            - Reboot the router. Press the button for less than 5
              seconds to reboot the router.

            - Connect WPS-enabled devices. Press the button for about 5
to 10 seconds until the WiFi LED blinks amber.

            [...]

Thanks for providing no useful information about your printer.

Thanks for not consulting the R6080 User Manual, as suggested.

> [...] I have my manuels, [...]

What are your (unspecified) "my manuels" [sic]?  Perhaps you should
try reading them.

> [...] but it is not locating my network. [...]

"it"?  A vague description of what some unspecified device does _not_
do is less useful than a clear description of what _does_ happen.

None of that is a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

> [...] you were no help. [...]

Some people are beyond my help, it seems.
