r6400 Router 5ghz connection dropping

I cannot figure out why my 5ghz connection disappears. I've checked all the settings on my pc and in the netgear app. Firmware is up to date, the lights on the router show that its working, my pc is literally 5 feet away from the router. If i factory reset the router and set it all back up, the 5ghz connection stays on for about a day and then stops working again. It will show the connection on my pc but when i connect to it, it will either say "can't connect to this network" or it will connect and nothing will load as if it is not connected to the internet. The other 2ghz connection works fine always. I have factory reset it like six times and every time the 5ghz connection stops working after a few hours. Not sure what is going on. I've had this router for like 2 years and it used to work fine, now it only works for a few hours after i factory reset it. 

Time for a new router or am i missing something with this?
