r7000 vpn ios server side routing
Hello NetGear experts -
I am using firmware version 1.0.9.60_10.2.60 on my R7000. I want to use my iPad os14 to remotely connect to an SMB share on a Windows 10 machine on my local subnet, 192.168.2.xxx. I have OpenVPN 3.2.3 (3760) running on my iPad, have managed to edit and import a profile, and have an apparently healthy VPN with traffic. I also understand how to use Files.
The OpenVPN server on the R7000 does not appear to be routing to the server-side subnet. I don't have a 192.168.2.xxx IP, and I can't see any devices. I have exhaustively pursued this with OpenVPN and in their forum, and they are just blaming NetGear. Reading through this forum, I see that problems are reported with this scenario, but I also see that some apparently have made it work. Any help very much appreciated, please let me know what else I can provide.
Many thanks in advance -
JBusch
