Different names for 2.4 and 5

Trying to assign different names to 2.4 and 5.0 with my Mesh Routers MR 60 and MS 60. Don’t see a place on the app to do it. It automatically assigned the SSID to both.

Re: Different names for 2.4 and 5

there isn't a way.

The MR60 is a mesh router without the option of seperate ssid's for the 2.4ghz and 5gzh

Explain why you want separate SSIDs and maybe someone can suggest a way around whatever problem you want to fix.

I wish to have separate SSIDs to
1. Instruct steaming TVs to only look for the 5.0 and
2. Keep other devices- phones etc - off the 5

Why? To both questions. Separate SSIDs break the whole idea of Mesh wifi.

Which TV model do you have. Many smart TVs don't work on 5 GHz. 2.4GHz is more than fast enough.

Personally I use  Powerline Ethernet wired connection for TVs. More reliable and easier to set up.

There is a way to do this with the v1.1.6.124 firmware version. Go to Advance > Advance Setup > Customize Network. In there you will be able to create a 2.4Ghz and a 5Ghz network separatelly.
