I need distance, not speed, so how do I shut off the 5GH tranceiver in my Nighthawk MR70 and MS70?
I walked the entire GUI and cannot find where to shut off the 5GH tranceivers in my MR70 wireless router an MS70 extenders. Is there a special firmware version that allows this, or do I need to find wires to snip? Thanks for any help.

Radios can't be disabled on any MESH system.

Why try to shut it off? It won't impact the 2.4ghz at all.
And disabling it, decreases the throughput of the satellites.
what are you actually trying to accomplish? Many times a question is asked but without enough details to fully give a decent answer. maybe the MK system isn't the correct answer but a point to point system is. Or maybe, there's a different confusion but its hard to know without details of your goal (other than disable 5ghz)
