MK62 Satellite (MS60) Disable Broadcast SSID
Am I missing something that when "Starting a New Discussion" on this community forum, the list of "Models" does not appear to include the MK62 (nor the MR60 router nor MS60 satellite): https://www.netgear.com/support/product/MK62?
On the MR60, I'm able to disable "Broadcast SSID" by browsing to http://www.routerlogin.com/WLG_adv_home.htm, which is accessed via:
Advanced | Advanced Setup | Wireless Settings
Enable Broadcast SSID setting
I would have assumed that this setting would be replicated to MS60 satellites, but that does not appear to be the case, as the satellite is broadcasting the SSID. On the satellite, I have tried to browse to http://<MS60IP>/WLG_adv_home.htm but this redirects to http://<MS60IP>/WLG_adv_dual_band2.htm, which doesn't have the "Broadcast SSID" setting.
How does one disable "Broadcast SSID" on MS60 satellites?
I have seen this KB article https://kb.netgear.com/30230/How-to-hide-your-NETGEAR-wireless-router-SSID-network-name - does not seem to apply to the MK62, and also read the user manual for the MK62 ... but this too does not address this.

Re: MK62 Satellite (MS60) Disable Broadcast SSID
@Christian_R, I assume this re the SSID Broadcast issue? If so, great news!
Do you have a rough ETA on when this will be resolved?

Hi markber,
We currently do not have an ETA. I'll be sure to update the thread as soon as I can.

Re: MK62 Satellite (MS60) Disable Broadcast SSID
@Christian_R, looks like firmware version 1.0.6.102 has been released and appears to have resolved the issue, as I'm now seeing "Broadcast Name: Off" on the satellite's settings
