MK63 Mesh

Hi,

 

I would like to know a couple of things:

  1. Does this support Vlans?
  2. Does the Mesh function in Bridge mode.i.e. i already have a Firwall router and want to continue to use that as the master but would like a mesh wifi in the house?
  3. In AP mode can this be connected via Ethernet to a switch, I know this has been asked but looking to see if there is an updatebefre potential purchase?
  4. In AP mode does this support vlans?
  5. In ap mode can i plck certain  devices form connecting to a specific AP
  6. is the only control for these devices via an App, if the internet goes down can i still administer these devices through a loal webpage?

    Hi Maurice, 

     

    1. Yes, it does. 

    2. To use the MK63 with another router, you will need to set it into AP mode. 

    3. We have received some feedback that users were able to accomplish this. 

    4. It will need to be in router mode to support VLANs.

    5. Ultimately the device will decide which AP to connect to.

    6. You may visit http://www.routerlogin.net to administer your router.
