MR 70 cutting in and out - not all devices connecting
I set up Nighthawk WiFi 6 Router #MR 70 network (the product isn't coming up in the forum) with the same name as my Router network as recommended. The Mesh router is connected via cable to my Vodafone router also passing my NBN signal. My devices seemed to be unable to determine when to connect to the satellite, sometimes connecting to the weak signal then returning to the strong signal several times, losing connection each time. I tried renaming my MESH network so I can tell if the devices are utilising the repeated signals. I still have the same problem, weak / strong / weak / lose signal / strong
- Is there a way to fix this issue?
- Is naming giving the networks one name feasible? Does it really work?
Feeling like I have made a poor purchase I would really appreciate any assistance, Netgear has always been great in the past.

What is that Vodafone router?
Two routers on your network can cause headaches. For example, you can end up with local problems with addresses on your network. Among other things, the other router can misdirect traffic to addresses that the Netgear router usually handles, such as routerlogin.net or the usual default IP address for a router, 192.168.1.1.
This explains some of the other drawbacks.

Unless you have specific reasons for using two routers – to create two separate networks for example – it is often easier to use just one router and then to set up the second router as a wifi access point (AP) with a wired connection to the main router. Netgear advises this, as does just about every site you will visit.

But that has its own drawbacks:

Re: MR 70 cutting in and out - not all devices connecting
Thank you, this lines up with other info I have found. I need to read a little more before I do any changes to my MESH. I think the Vodafone Router (Model NL 1902) is necessary because it "speaks" to my National Broadband Connection - not sure if my MESH will do that.So I currently have NBN device to Vodafone to Mesh.
Thanks for your advice I appreciate it

It isn't clear what that router does, but I see references to connecting to 4G. If that means it connects to a mobile network, then it is a modem router. You need that to connect to the internet.
How you sort things out is down to your choice of the options listed above.
They boil down to turning off the router bit of the Vodafone Router and using it in modem only (bridge) mode. You'll have to ask your ISP, or Google, how to go about that.
Or you can use the MR70 in AP mode.
