Netgear nighthawk MR60 access control doesnt work

Hi I am trying to enable access control to block certain devices. There are few devices that I am not aware of and I cant change password as its a pain to go through rest of my 40 devices for resetting my password. So I tried to enable access control and block unknown devices. My laptop is one of the allowed device. Once I enable access control, any website that I try to access is failing with a certificate issue. For example, when I clicked youtube.com, I am getting a certificate error because it shows that the certificate is from routerlogin.net

I gave up and tried revert back by disabling the AC, but everytime I tried to uncheck the box "Turn on Access Control" and click "Apply", it asks for router credentials and it reloads the page. I had to repeat close to 30 times and luckily on the final attempt, when I click "Apply", it stayed in the same page. Need help to block certain devices in my network without changing password.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?

What browser are you using? Try a different browser? MS Edge, Firefox or Opera?

V1.1.6.124_2.0.59 is my firmware version. I tried to update if there are any newer releases but nothing showed up. I tried in Chrome, Safari. Also my other apps like slack, outlook etc threw a connection error.

Is there any other way to kick those devices out of my network?

It is such a sad experience from netgear to not have control on the devices that got connected with/without your knowledge.
