Re: NightHawk mesh wont stay connected
I'm betting you googled for a number and got a scam site because none of netgears support plans cost that amount.
https://www.netgear.com/home/services/prosupport/
It happens quite common because scammers can setup the sites quickly (and look quite legit) and take them down quickly.
Did you give them any info? Or access?
If so, I'd factory reset and start over with new passwords.

This weekend my wife and I went to the beach house and we took our nighthawk mesh system with only one of the mesh extenders . We came back home and that one remote extender has a constant red light on it. The main box and the other box that we didn't take, still worked fine.
Did you get the stuff to work at the beach house?
The settings will be different because it is probably a different Internet account and maybe even a different modem sitting between the router and the Internet.
That is probably why the connection won't stick on the travelling satellite.
You don't tell us what this Nighthawk hardware is, but you may now need to get it back to the settings it needs to work on your home Internet. These things are just plug and pray.
As @plemans says, you may have to reset the device and set it up from scratch.
The next time you go to the beach, first backup the settings for your unknown router and the satellites:
Then when you get to the beach, when the stuff works, create a beach backup.
Then, as you travel between the two, you will have customised settings for each location. With luck they will work.
Oh, and when you want to find a support number don't make the mistake of calling the first number that Google throws up. As @plemans warns, you are playing into the hands of the crooks.
How do I identify an official NETGEAR website or social media account? - NETGEAR Support
I hope you don't do that when you need to find the phone number for your bank or credit card company.
