How do I separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz SSIDs on my Nighthawk Tri-bank Mesh WiFi 6 product? Do I need to upgrade to MR80 or MS80 product?

Thanks. That's what I understood after reading the "Can I create separate 2.4........article. Already ordered the upgrade.
Reason: "You can connect slower or older devices to the 2.4GHz band. Since these devices don’t need a lot of bandwidth, the speed and performance of your 5GHz band is reserved for your high-speed devices." Some or our Smart devices would not connect to the MR60 product.

Its only the 80 series that allows it to seperate.
Is there a reason you want them seperated?

Re: Nighthawk MR60 MESH NETWORK
You should still be able to connect your Iot 2.4ghz devices to the mr60.
It can sometimes be a bit more of a challenge as many IoT device makers are lazy and code poorly but it can be done.

Re: Nighthawk MR60 MESH NETWORK
Also if you had a prior wifi router and IoT connected there, just be sure to use same SSID name on the MK system with same PW and your IoT devices should migrate and connection automatically. If you set up the MK system while leaving the prior wifi router ON, Once the MK system is ON and online and ready, just turn OFF the prior wifi router. Devices will auto connect to the MK signal and SSID.
