Nighthawk MS60 Renaming Not Working
I recently picked up a MR60 router / MS60 satellite bundle on clearance from Walmart for $80 the other day. I figured for the price, it was time to upgrade my old Nighthawk router. Additionally, they...

Every time I have tried to change the name through the app, I have hit save at the end of the attempt. It made no difference. I suppose I could find an Android device and try that version of the app to see if it makes any difference.

OK, I put my MK63 online today.
MS had already been re-named and I remembered that I had to use the Nighthawk app to do it.
I used my iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 16.2
Both RBS appeared in the app with change from before - BM and DR:
Select each MS and it takes you to the MS display page on the app. Select the pencil icon and edit the name.
After I just added a numberical character to the end of the name for a change, I selected Save on the app and change took place.
Looked at the MRs web page (MS Edge) and also change appeared as well:
NG Genie app is NOT supported on MK series systems. Also that app is EOL!!!

That is exactly what I have tried, but every time I do it, they flip back almost instantly. I have been unable to find a way to rename them through my PC using a web browser. I have tried both Edge & Chrome, but no option to rename them was present. I initially tried using my iPhone 14 Pro Max with the latest version of the Nighthawk app, but that just does the rename for a split second. This morning I decided to pull out an old Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and installed the latest Nighthawk app from the play store. From within the app, I tried to rename the satellites and then chose save when exiting out. Guess what happened. Yup, the same thing as my iPhone! Doh! Hahaha!
Are there any other ideas or suggestions? I know it's not the end of the world, but I would prefer to have them named after their physical location vs. all of them claiming to be Satellite-1. Thank you all for all of the help so far!

Does "that" refer to the desktop genie or to the many other things suggested?
It works here on a different MS model.
