Nighthawk Mesh MR80 with switch connectivity issues
Issue 1: I have a new Arris cable modem connected to a MR80 mesh router, and a 16 port (Netgear ProSafe FS116P) dumb switch to the MR80. I have several wired devices such as TV's and computers connected to the switch. if the switch is connected to the MR80 i keep dropping connection to the wired devices. If i have the switch connected directly to the Arris Cable modem i never lose connection.
Issue 2: i have a security camera system that i am attempting to get connected to the internet. I am unable to get the email notifications or NTP to connect.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Nighthawk Mesh MR80 with switch connectivity issues
Is the FS116 is a 100Mpbs switch try swapping that switch out for a GS series switch which are 1Gb supporting.
CAT6 LAN cabling is recommended.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
