Wifi mesh MK63 - baby monitor (cubo)
Hi,
I bought a baby monitor (cubo) which has issues with the mesh network as it always searches for a better connection (I am certainly no tech expert).
They require the following info the change the firmware of cubo:
1. Please ask if there's an option to rename or separate 2.4GHz to 5GHz for satellite 2 (or maybe each satellites)
2. Is it possible to lock in one satellite connection only to certain devices (like Cubo, google home, and just connected mobile device).
It would be great if someone could help as I am not able to answer these questions.
Thanks a lot

No you can't seperate the ssid's or assign a specific satellite to it.
How far apart are the satellites from the router? 30 ft minimum is recommended for proper roaming.
How big is the home and wh at materials is it made of?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
The whole house is about 150sqm and the satellite 1 and router are more than 30ft apart. Satellite 1 and 2 are probably closer than 30ft. But if I don’t put the satellite where I put it, then there is no wifi in the room at all.
Not sure about the building material, don’t think it’s concrete...

certain materials block wifi better than others. And mesh systems need a certain distance for appropriate roaming to work.
