AC1200 DB WiFi Range Extender and odd IP Address 165.165.165.165

Was looking at my main wifi router page and notice that when my extender is running, I have an ODD IP attached 165.165.165.165 that says its Telkom based in South Africa. I know none of my devices are based in SA so this has to be coming from the wifi extender itself. Just not sure if this is malicious or part of the extender.  Any thoughts appreciated.

What extender do you have? AC1200 is a speed, not a model.

Easy check is to disconnect the extender and see if that ip address is still showing. (might be a device connected to the extender so that isn't a for certain check)

      Main router: C3700-100NAS

      Extender: EX6110

I've confirmed this 165xxx is showing up only when my extender is connected and it says it's connected to my main wifi router (which it shows under connected devices) and connected to the 2.4GHz band.

What's funny, I'm not extending the 2.4 Ghz band either, so it must be the IP of something in the extender itself?

Just very odd, since that IP shows a South African address.

I'm going to reset that extender, in case something went awry during setup.

Oddly, the device names shows properly attached on my main cable modem under 5Ghz band.

While I'm not sure sure it's malicious, I don't know what is the cause of this IP
