Nighthawk X6S EX8000 options?

Hello, I have the EX8000 in the corner of the house closest to our garage that is 80 feet away.  Can I put another EX8000 in the window of the garage to boost the signal inside the garage?  The wifi works good as long as you're close to a window that faces the house.  Just need something to boost the signal inside the garage.  Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

    About all you can do is try it. If you can get a decent signal using a phone in that window, an extender should be able to as well. 

    I'd just buy it from somewhere with a decent return policy in case it doesn't work. 

    Or just run an underground ethernet wire to the garage and hardwire the extender in (in access point mode).
