cannot access WN2000RPT setup wizard from Windows 10 pc
It was working perfectly until today then suddenly it stopped connecting to my router. My phone connects to the WN2000RPT but it says "connected no internet". My phone connects to my router with go...
that's not correct. When you're setting up the extender, the device you're using to set it up with (the pc) should ONLY be connected to the extender. either via wifi or ethernet. It should not be connected to the router or it defaults back to that connection.
You didn't try to setup the extender using wps correct?
When you connect to the netgear_ext, the computer isn't connected to anything else?
I have tried WPS but that didn't work

after the factory reset (don't hit wps) and connecting to the wifi, did you try a different computer and/or browser?
Yes. I have tried Chrome and Edge on my desktop PC and also Chrome on my laptop. Always the same result. When I go to mywifiext . net I get a screen saying "You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network"
If you're not online, it shouldn't even give you that error. which makes me think you're still connected to either the router or the extender wasn't fully reset.
My PC is connected to my router by ethernet cable and I am connected to the internet. Is that not correct?
