Re: 1G Wan speed support in R7000
Hi CASE,
thank you very much for your quick reply 🙂
just to malke sure, if i have a client with a modem-router of a 1G wan, if i'll use it as a bridge to the R7000, i'll just be able to use 600M speed or the R700 won't be able to work at all?
Best Regrads,
Danny

Re: 1G Wan speed support in R7000
There is support material, including a manual, for the R7000 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> R7000 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<<
It lists the specifications.
Just another user.
My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V

Re: 1G Wan speed support in R7000
Hi,
There is no secret, I am using one beta firmware version 1.0.7.3 because in the official released firmware pppoe ipv6 dual stack was not working. Anyone who has low performance on 1Gbit connection should contact netgear support because this router is capable of ~ 930 Mbit/s wan to lan.

Re: 1G Wan speed support in R7000
I know that is old, but this is the only version that has a working pppoe ipv6 dual stack. I have an open case at netgear and they are telling me that all the fixes regarding ipv6 PD should be included in 1.0.9.30 final version.
