AC1200 D6220
In seguito ad un forte temporale nella mia zona ,con scariche atmosferiche, si e' guastato per la seconda volta, il primo si era guastato allo stesso modo, il modem router D6220, all'interno vedo rivestimento del Condensatore C449 letteralmente esploso,
ed anche l'adattatore -alimentatatore misurando con il tester non eroga nessuna tensione, sapete indicarmi la capacità e le caratteristiche di questo condensatore?
l'adattatore del modem router D6200 che eroga 350ma in uscita penso che non possa sostituire l'adattatore originale che ha
in uscita 1.0 A.Non so se ne vale la pena farlo riparare.
Al momento sto tamponando con un coniteh vecchio tipo collegato in cascata con Modem/router D6200 negear(guasto lato linea
adsl.Come proteggere il Modem da queste scariche atmosferiche visto che gia' si è ripetuto più volte il problema?

Storms are great at wreaking electronics. I'm not sure if its worth trying to fix the 1 capacitor. Reason why is it might have wrecked even more within the router or the power supply. Even if you fixed those 2 knowns problems, what else is going to be wrecked internally?
Prevention is your goal. A good quality surge protector can help with this. Or if you're home is getting hit with lightening repeatedly, proper groundling/lightening rods could maybe help to protect your whole home.
