Re: AC2100
More details are needed.
1. What firmware is on the router?
2. What modem/gateway is it connected to?
3. 2nd button from left/right? if its on the left its the internet icon and means it detected a connection to a modem.

Re: AC2100
Which viasat modem is it?
Some have integrated modem/router combo devices and cause a double nat.

Re: AC2100
As @plemans says, the thing up front can be important, which is why we ask about it.
Another factor to bear in mind is that the modem and router work together during set up to configure their settings.
If you are adding a new router to the network, you may have to reset both the modem and the router. That gets the modem to forget its previous connection with the old router.
Then start things as required:
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
First, though, what is that front end?

Re: AC2100
Ah, a satellite dish. That's way beyond my understanding.
I'll have to leave it to the experts.

Re: AC2100
Many satellite setups have their own dhcp server built in. It could be causing issues.
Take a look at this article and see if the setup for satellite works.

Re: AC2100
maybe there was a viasat update. Maybe something else changed.
Its not working now. It'd ether be the satellite recieve, router, or a setting.
I'd start with the settings.
