AC2400 Not Working - Only WiFi Light On

So my son started mashing on the router buttons and now my router doesn't work.

The only LED light thats working is the WiFi On/Off.

All other lights are off.

I tried hard wiring directly to the router, but I cannot connect.  Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Additional info:

When i toggle the power switch or do a power cycle, only the WiFi button lights up.

have you tried doing a reset on the router?

Hold the reset button on the back of the route for around 7-10 seconds. Hold it until the light change their blinking. Then release. it'll make you start up the router from the beginning.

tried doing a reset, but nothing happened. held for 10 seconds - 1 min. The only light that is on is the WiFi light. Power light is still off.

You don't have specific model number but you can try using a tftp procedure to reinstall firmware. here's the instructions. Get the firmware for your specific model from the netgear.com/support/ site

Added router model

See below. The router is not getting power, so the PowerLED signals aren't matching. Additionally, when I try to turn the router back on while holding the reset button, only the WiFi light turns on.

with his mashing did he:

1. Stick one of the buttons in so its always engaged?

2. Break one of the buttons off internally so its not sending a signal anymore?

Per my wife he pressed it a bunch of times.

Upon further inspection:

The buttons aren't stuck.

The buttons aren't broken - still make the clicking sound and don't feel stuck/lodged, if that makes sense.

Did he somehow swap power supplies around?

lol nope still the same standard power supply that came with it. thinking it might be the hardware?
