Add Router to an Existing Home Network

I am attempting to connect my own router to an existing home network using the ISP company's modem/router combo.  I found these instructions: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/26748/~/how-do-i-set-up-netgear-r7000-router-with-my-e....  I am not able to get past the first steps because I cannot go to www.routerlogin.net to get my router's settings to display.  What I guess I am most unsure about is if I have them connected properly to the computer and to each other.

I have the ISP Modem/Router connected to my computer.

I have connected the ISP Modem/Router to my router. The Ethernet cord is connected to the "Internet" port on the back of my router.

Thanks!

Re: Add Router to an Existing Home Network

You need to move your computer's connection from the ISP Modem/Router to the R7000.  Then try www.routerlogin.net again.
