Cannot access router admin page from my wireless laptop. Tried the app and even Genie app with no luck. I don't recall what has changed that would not allow me access it. URL - https://www.routerlogin.net.
Have used this same URL in the past with no issues.
All devices are accessing internet fine. Performance is stable and normal.
I just can't access the router's admin page. What am I missing here?
Thanks.

Instead of using the URL have you tried using the IP address of the router in a browser? Normally the address would be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.

"Cannot" is not a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
> [...] Tried the app and even Genie app [...]
Which app is "the app"? What happened when you it/tried them?
> [...] What am I missing here?
A useful description of what happens when you put that URL into your
(unspecified) web browser on your (unspecified) computer/device?
"Cannot", "can't", and "would not allow me" all suffer from the same
lack of useful information.

Re: Admin login times out
A little more details...
When I try to access the router via the URL I'm getting the message "This site can't be reached" www.routerlogin.net refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED."
I did try with the IP address 192.168.1.1 and was able to access the admin site.
Curious as to why the URL would not work.
The app I'm using on my phone is Nighthawk app. When I click on the Device icon I get a "sorry, the action failed. Please try again.". I can access the wifi settings and other settings in the app. I've logged out and logged in again with no change in the results.
Its not allowing me to login to the router using same id/pwd I used in the browser.
Is the Genie app no longer supported?
Hope this helps.

I'm (still) curious as to exactly which URL(s) you're using.
> [...] https://www.routerlogin.net [...]
That one could fail because the router's management web site can use
only "http://", not "https://". But you claimed:
> Have used this same URL in the past with no issues.
So what you're doing differently is not entirely clear. As usual,
details can matter.

If you specified neither scheme, "http://" or "https://", explicitly,
then your (unspecified) web browser might first have tried "https://",
but reverted to "http://" if the "s" one failed.
> The app I'm using [...]
I stick with a web browser, and avoid Netgear apps, so I have no
information on that failure.

Re: Admin login times out
I did use the http:// URL and its working with the Edge browser. Chrome is the problem. I will check the settings there.
I will open a separate ticket on the iOS app issues. All good here. Thanks for your responses.
