How do I get QOS working?

 

I own a Nighthawk X10 R9000 with FW V1.0.4.28. QOS worked just fine and I was uble to block my brother who is up all night gaming keeping me awake. My brother reset the router firmware Now QOS does not work

1) V1.0.4.28 is the latest FM. It is installed.

2) I have tried Chrome, Edge and IE (do I really need to try FireFox -- this feature should just work)

3) Advanced | Setup | Qos Setup is disabled

 

Also disabled are:

Advanced | Setup | Internet Setup

Advanced | Setup | LAN Setup

Advanced | Setup | WAS Setup

Advanced | Setup | Device Name

 

The follow is disabled on the Basic Tab:

Basic | Internet

Basic | Quality of Service

Basic | Parental Controls

Have you tried a factory reset and manual config?

Your R9000 is operating in Wireless Access point mode, not in Router mode. -> How to set your Nighthawk router to Router mode
