Almost officially done with Netgear Orbi and their support due to not fixing the wifi issues
My R7000 shuts off the wifi access to itself almost daily. It is easy to fix; I just reboot the router. But it sure is a pain in the neck. I reset the router using the reset button and changed the SSID's and passwords. I am currently running V188.8.131.52_10.2.64 and the router says there are no new updates. The router is plugged into a UPS battery and is getting clean, steady power.
Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Many people have had issues on the .64 firmware. I'd roll back to an earlier firmware version to see what fixes the problem for you. Make sure you do so over a hardwired connection. After downgrading the firmware, make sure to perform a factory reset and set it back up from stock. That has seemed to have the most luck. General concensus is the .42 firmware has been the most stable. Here's a thread that walks through the downgrade.
