Blocking device based on time schedule

How do I block internet access at specific times / schedule.  Sunday - Thursday would have different time than Friday - Saturday.  A good part of the reason for purchasing was the advanced parental controls, but those only seem to limit the level of access not completely removing access at certain times.

Re: Blocking device based on time schedule

To set a time schedule per device:

1. LAN IP reservation - so the IP wont change and blocking services always works

(Advanced > Setup > LAN Setup)

2. Block services - where you configure the service and the IP to be filtered (if you want to completely block that device IP set Service to "ANY" or all services)

(Advanced > Security > Block Services)

3. Schedule - the timeframe you want to set

          (Advanced > Security > Schedule)

Note: You can only set the SAME time on different days.

Re: Blocking device based on time schedule

it is a limitation on the fw which is the same on all NETGEAR home routers either Block Services or LPC. I have some NETGEAR routers with ddwrt fw and i can also just set same time on different days or the're maybe other ddwrt but I dont need scheduling so I dont bother searching.

This is not the same as Prosafe firewall where you can set 2-3 rules with different schedules set.
