Brand new R6900v2 Cannot connect to internet.

Nighthawk AC1900 Smart wifi Router. Still brand new unable to connect to internet. Please help.

   "unable" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.

  To what is this "Brand new R6900v2" connected?  Is this a new
installation, or are you changing a previously working installation?
Are you following any set of instructions?  Who is your ISP?  Have you
contacted your ISP?  Have you contacted Netgear support?

   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.

My guess is that you just plugged in and connected the router. That won't work.

 

There is a manual and quick start guide for the R6900v2 somewhere at the end of this link:

It is important to follow the exact order set out in the quick start guide.
