Bridging a DG1670A
Hello, just recently Time Warner upgraded speeds in my area and installed a Arris Touchstone DG1670A 16x4 modem. The router drops speeds constantly, TWC level 3 technicians tried 'everything' to no avail. I'm just wondering if any of you guys with the same modem have had any issues with the router in bridge mode. Thanks

Re: Bridging a DG1670A
Is there a way to disable the routing function of the Arris and just use it as a modem? This would allow you to use your R7000 as a full blown router. If not I think you will have to put the R7000 in access point mode. Here are the directions http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23814/~/how-to-manually-configure-r7000-router-as-acce...
I am using mine as an access point behind a Cisco small business router.
