When a new device hits my network I would typically fire up my Genie app running on either of my Windows 10 laptops and go to NETWORK MAP tool. Upon finding the new device in the list I would select MODIFY and towards the bottom then choose NONE in the PARENTAL CONTROLS FILTERING field. Hitting APPLY and going to this device to test has yielded 0 results. The device in Genie keeps setting itself back to DEFAULT LEVEL ON ROUTER no matter what I do. I've double checked my device is on the latest FW. I've restarted it twice and also pulled power from it for an extended period of time but still no luck. As far as I can tell there is no option to tinker with the PARENTAL CONTROLS FILTERING via the iOS Nighthawk app nor via the routers web GUI. Factory defaulting it and starting over appears to be my only option at this point but I wanted to see if anyone else had some input on the issue.
