To answer the question, there are only 2 options under Wireless Bridging.

Yes if the bridge mode is available as in Current router's in AC can do that. You get the advertised speed say 4.6Gbps in this for Ad and 1.7Gbps for AC.

R9000 supports the following modes:

  • Router
  • Access Point
  • Bridge Mode

Might not be worth it. Rembmer AD is very limited range and for max range which is VERY limited requires line of sight.

BT will get better range probably, that's the kind of range we're talking.
