I recently upgraded my firmware of my R6700 v2 nighthawk router. I notcied that the other wifi isn't there anymore. I only see the 2.4GHz and not the 5GHz frequency/bandwidth. Please let me know how I can fix my issue. Thanks.
Normal suggestion when a firmware update does not work right is to reset the router and do a reconfiguration.
To do that press the reset button for say 10 to 15 seconds and then let the router reboot. Should be back to the factory defaults. Then do a new configuration. Don't use a configuration backup file as this can imtroduce the problem all over.
Installing new Netgear firmware seems to cause issues with what was there before.
IMHO this should not happen with properly designed an implemented firmware, but this is Netgear not most folks.
