Catch 22. Product registered but not in my profile

As the title says, and as a consequence I cannot re-register a product because it is already registerd. No, not registered under a different account, I only have one account. I get the message "No products registered under your profile" yet I have registered many netgear products in the past. In fact, had an RMA about a year ago.

The online chat was useless as it was a Q&A rather than a direct answer. Was told netgear was updating its servers. When asked an ETA basicly got an "I don't know". I cannot contact support until I register a product???? VERY FRUSTRATED TECH!

WTH???
