Changed computers and now not private
Hi.... Switched out computers Dell to Dell and even after rebooting several times....only the top bank of lights is on....and my network doesn't show up. It normally has all the lights illuminated and says open and not private. Any help appreciated.

These computers (Windows systems?) are connected to the router how,
exactly? Wired? Wireless?
> [...] only the top bank of lights is on [...]
Define "the top bank of lights". On your router?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the
LED descriptions. ("Troubleshoot" might be another topic of interest.)
Is there some actual problem with the LED indications? Were you
expecting anything else for some reason?

What, exactly, "doesn't show up" where, exactly?
None of that is a useful problem description. It does not say what
you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

Really? What's connected to the USB and LAN Ethernet ports (which
might cause those indicators to be anything but dark)?

What, exactly, "says" what, exactly, where, exactly, when you do
Windows tends to treat any new network connection as "Public",
meaning untrustworty, until you tell it otherwise. But that's a Windows
question -- nothing to do with the router itself.
