Cm1150v and comcast
Comcast is telling it is time to replace modem as per their claim it only supports download up to 1Gbs. Netgear site specs say it supports up to 2Gbs. Tried calling Comcast to discuss this and didn't get any traction with them. Anyone else had this situation with them and get successful resolution.

Re: Cm1150v and comcast
The CM1150V can hit 2gig/sec but only if the router is a dual wan router. Which most aren't.
But its still one of the top performing gig rated modes out there. the only faster ones are that support 2.5gig ports and there isn't many out there. Netgear only makes 2 currently (CM2000, CM2050V).
so unless you're planning on subscribing to 2gig service, the cm1150V will still work fine for you.
